I have a Sony Vaio VPCF1 from 1 year and from a couple of weeks the dvd/bd burner is not working anymore. The firmware is TSST corp DVDWBD TS-LB23A. It doesn't read any cd/dvd anymore and also I can't write any cd/dvd. I have tried to uninstall driver and to install it again and it still doesn't work.

Hi. I've got exactly the same problem with my hp dvdwbd ts-lb23l (not recognising DVDs). I've tried all the fixes mentioned to no avail, bar the last one, as I cannot see the correct route through the MS Support menu from the 'Find it myself' starting point.
